NORTHBLOOD

The first track of the EYSTEIN project, and the song that
declared the rest of it possible. NORTHBLOOD is a call across
a thousand years of silence — the moment a bloodline stops
sleeping and stands up to answer its own name.

The Norse called it megin: the inherited force that runs
beneath the surface of a life, the part of a person that
belongs to their lineage before they know it does. NORTHBLOOD
is that force given a beat.

Built on modern Scandinavian rap fused with deep frame drum,
hardanger fiddle drone, and the war-horn vocabulary of the
old North, the track moves like a column on the march. It
isn't nostalgia. It isn't reenactment. It's a transmission —
from the kings on the ice to whoever still hears them.
