About Us

Vestfold Hall builds AI agents that work for small businesses — answering customers, routing leads, and handling the questions that pile up while you're running everything else.

We're not a software vendor selling you a dashboard. We build, deploy, and maintain your agent for you, trained on your products, your policies, and your voice.

Every Vestfold Hall agent is also a listening post. While it answers questions and guides shoppers to the right product around the clock, it's quietly learning what your customers actually want — the questions they ask, the hesitations that stop them, and the things they came looking for that you don't yet carry. That last signal is the one most stores never see: the demand walking out the door unmet. Your agent surfaces it in a plain-language report after each meaningful conversation — not a raw transcript dump, but a filtered, professional read on what happened and why it matters. It's the instinct a good shopkeeper used to have standing behind the counter, listening to every customer all day. We built that instinct back into your store.

That intelligence reaches you on a routine basis through dedicated reports, and we turn it into action together. The findings guide the improvements we make to your agent during regular update sessions — adding capabilities, sharpening how it answers, what it recommends, and where it points customers next. And if you'd rather stay hands-off, we'll handle those refinements for you, with nothing more than a short confirmation summary and a single email exchange to keep you in the loop.

Built by an operator, for operators

Vestfold Hall was founded by W. Gilliam, an entrepreneur with three decades of experience running real-world operations where the details matter. He spent twenty years as president of a helicopter services company — 100 employees, twelve aircraft — where he pioneered some of the first multi-sensor LiDAR and imaging systems used to inspect power lines and pipelines across the country. He's been an airline transport pilot, an FAA designated examiner, a federal aviation analyst, and a police officer.

That background shapes how we build software: safety-minded, procedure-driven, and tested before it touches your customers.

We are a small business based in the USA with headquarters in North Carolina.  We do not queue any data offshore.

Examples of our agents in production

Ours — the customer agent at gilliamarms.com, our own armor manufacturing business. It answers technical product questions, guides buyers to the right protection level, routes custom requests to the right inbox, and hands off to a human the moment a conversation needs one. We run our agents on our own company first — if it isn't good enough for our customers, it never ships to yours.

Hugin — the agent that greets you here at vestfoldhall.com. Hugin answers questions about what we build, shows you how an agent would work on your site, and books the conversation with us when you're ready.

Both agents run on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with abuse protection, human-handoff notifications, and weekly performance reporting built in.

 Why "Vestfold Hall"?

Vestfold was the seat of the old Norse kings — and the founder's documented ancestral line. A hall was where the work of a community got done: decisions made, guests received, every visitor met at the door. That's what your website should be. We build the steward who meets them.

Ready to put an agent to work? Talk to Hugin or email us — a real person reads every message.
